LT Nicole "JAM" Cox

LT Nicole I. Cox is a native of Chesapeake, Va. She was a direct accession and received her U.S. Navy commission as a Medical Service Corps officer in July 2019. She is a 2013 graduate of Old Dominion University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Biology with departmental honors. In 2015, she completed a master’s degree in Biomedical Science Research at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
LT Chris "Gator" Gilg
LT Gilg was born in Frankfurt, Germany and is the son of two U.S. Army Soldiers. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from Indiana University and a Master’s of Sciences in Human Factors in Aeronautics from the Florida Institute of Technology.
LT Heather “Ponzi” Fender
LT Fender is a native of Livonia, Michigan. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science Kinesiology in 2015,and then a Masters of Arts in Exercise Physiology in 2017. She was a direct accession and commissioned in 2018.
LCDR Taylor “Dory” Burton

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Lieutenant Commander Burton entered Naval service on January 6th, 1999. Upon graduation from Recruit Training Center, he went on to Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, for Damage Controlman class "A" school and earned his “DC” rating

He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Human Biomechanics from the University of Wisconsin, and a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Leadership from American Military

LCDR Armas grew up in Manhattan Beach, CA and attended the University of Southern California (USC) (BA, 2005). In October 2005, he was commissioned as an Ensign through the USC Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program.
CAPT(ret) Rebecca "Sparky" Bates
Hailing from Round Rock, Texas Rebecca L. Bates graduated from Round Rock High School and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree at Tarleton State University, Stephenville, Texas and a Master of Education Degree at Baylor University, Waco, Texas.
LT Chris "Dora" Mecham
Lieutenant Christopher Mecham was born in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. In 2016, he graduated from Boise State University earning a Masters of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology. He was commissioned as a Lieutenant Junior Grade in July 2017 and attended Officer Development School (ODS) in August 2017. Upon completion of ODS, he reported to the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, FL and was designated a Naval Aerospace/Operational Physiologist in May 2018.
LT Patrick "Flex" Martin
Lieutenant W. Patrick Martin was raised in Mobile, Al where he attended St. Paul’s Episcopal High School. He graduated from Auburn University in 2010 with a Bachelors of Arts in Exercise Science. In 2011 he completed his Masters of Science degree in Exercise Physiology at Auburn University and began his naval career as a Lieutenant Junior Grade at Officer Development School, Newport, Rhode Island in 2018.
